Sienna graduated from Fort Lewis College with a bachelor’s degree in public health in 2015. She joined the Wings team in 2021 and is passionate about nature-based learning. Throughout life, Sienna has gained over 8 years of experience in Early Childhood Education. Sienna has completed early childhood coaching training and many early childhood college courses. Sienna brings a lot to the table through her creativity, encouraging laughter and play, and helping to create a positive work environment. She is also a Colorado native, raised in Pagosa Springs, and nothing makes her happier than giving back to the community by building up the youth of Pagosa!
Mariah has worked in early childhood education for over 7 years, with experience at another local center and as a home childcare provider. She has enjoyed playing, learning, and watching the children around her grow into amazing, brave little adults. Mariah completed the college certificate for Large Center Director Qualifications in 2015.
Mariah is a mom to an amazing little girl and a wife to a very supportive husband. She enjoys crafting, woodworking, drawing, fishing, hiking … really anything having to do with the outdoors! Most importantly, she loves being with her family and being silly!
Jordyn is Wings' nutritionist! She prepares, plans, and shops for all our breakfasts, lunches, and snacks. Jordyn has created many excellent, healthy meals for the students and continues to think of new ways to make meals exciting and nutritious. She also maintains the school's cleanliness so families, students, and staff can see the center at its most refined 100% of the time. Jordyn brings innovation, creativity, and much value to the team. She hopes to continue serving Wings with a smile and a yum!
Before coming to Wings, Gabbi worked in the medical field working for visiting angels here in Pagosa and many retirement homes. She also worked in New Mexico as a caregiver for adults with special needs. Gabbi decided it was time to switch gears and work with young children. She is super excited to be working at Wings learning new things from your children every day!
Miss Olivia recently moved to Pagosa Springs from Tennessee! She has years of experience as a Nanny for preschool-aged children and she is eager to learn more about the early childhood education field. Olivia has a gentle, kind, and calm approach and enjoys creating connections with the children and their families. She loves to craft, and spend time outside!
Angelique (Bee) is originally from the front range but has spent the last 8 years in Durango, and recently moved to Pagosa. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with her husband, walking her dog, Addie, and reading books.
Bee has been an Early Childhood teacher for over a year now. She has spent most of her life around children, from babysitting and nannying to her own siblings. Bee's favorite part of teaching is watching kids have that “ah-ha!” moment when they learn a new skill they have been working on mastering!
Kimberly has been working in childcare for over 15 years and loves the joy children bring to her life. She loves watching children’s excitement as they find what brightens their world. Kim has run her own home daycare for the last 5 years and worked for a nationally accredited preschool in Arizona for many years with special needs adults.
She is also a grandma of 3 children with one more on the way! Kim enjoys hiking, camping, waterfalls, and collecting rocks!
Leah was born in California and raised right here in Pagosa. She and her husband have two amazing kids, Aiden and Ariella. Leah has lived in Colorado most of her life but has spent some time in California, Nevada, Texas, and New Mexico. After some moving around, Leah is certain that she found her forever home where she was raised! Leah has worked at Wings with the Toddlers since December 2021 and studied Early Childhood Education. In her spare time, she enjoys crafting and making jewelry as well as hiking and fishing.
Jessica is originally from Texas but moved to Colorado in 2021. She grew up on a farm surrounded by lots of animals. She enjoys spending time adventuring outside with her family kayaking, hiking, camping, and traveling to surrounding areas to explore. She has a son and loves watching him grow and learn. Before working with children, she worked in the automotive industry and enjoyed learning something new and hands-on while having the opportunity to help people. Jessica's favorite part about working with children now is watching their curiosity as they discover the world around them.
Devin had the pleasure of working with children for over 7 years, in a variety of settings, including substitute teaching and working as a paraprofessional at the middle and elementary schools. She enjoys basketball, spending time outdoors, and playing with her dogs. Devin considers herself blessed to be raised in Pagosa Springs, and is now given the opportunity to build connections with the young children at Wings!
